Kenny's - Where to Ride 2/19 - noon update

Postby Kenny » Fri Feb 19, 2010 8:44 am

Skyline appears to be socked in. May be rideable, but visibility is going to be low. I am not sure about Strawberry, the Daniel's meter is down.

Today is a difficult day to forecast. I don't trust the point forecasts today. Winds aloft are NW and I am going with that today. Best chance of rides is Skyline with wind in the low teens. However, visibility may be an issue at times. Strawberry may go off in the afternoon. Keep an eye on Daniel's as a predictor. I will keep an eye on it and will post an update before noon if I see it going off.

Saturday is looking like wind again at Skyline, but even more snow. Strawberry might produce the goods, stay tuned.

Sunday is holding promise for Strawberry. Looks like Skyline may whiteout that day.
