Spent a week in LB, no wind the first 4 days. El nino is having it's impacts down there as well. I did my best to pack 7 days of kiting into the last 3 days. Pretty worn out when i got back after kiting 4-5 hours a day for the last 3 days. Mostly on the 10m, had about 2 hours on the 14m one day. Lynn on the 8m and 10m. Lynn did the best she's ever done, staying up for 30 seconds plus at a time and stayed upwind on a few tacks. Nice little town with some Park City people living there half the year. Stayed at Playa del Sol hotel, which has a Vela operating out of it. Basic rooms but nice atmosphere right on the beach, and you get to know the other guests. Mostly windsurfers, but a few other kiters the last 2 days. Also spent 2 nights in Cabo San Lucas just to check it out. Kind of a hassle there with people trying to sell you something/anything everywhere you go, but good restaurants and we had a nice beach on the pacific side. A couple of pics and vids below. I need Mark to come with me to take better pics next vacation.

Nice to see that there are still a few people down there who haven't gone over to the darkside.

Jim, did you noticed that their sails are mostly 5.5 or under? Looks like a sweet spot for us poleboarders.
