DCBB 30 May 11m and 15m Cruiser

Postby ChrisPSherwin » Mon May 31, 2010 6:48 am

At 330 I putting my computer speakers into my window so that I could rock out while planting trees. I was foolish enough to look at livelakeview - OMG! whitecaps and a poleboarder going fast. Rallied down to DCBB where Billy had already been out and Vicky was lamenting a leaking kite (boy have I been there V). Rigged 11, jumped once and a binding screw came out. Came back, fixed it out again for some fun. Billy puts on a show for anyone within a mile. Spencer and Jason showed up. Wind mellows a bit and I get my 15 while others go out on raceboards and 11 and 15. Got to my neighbors BBQ a bit late, and they punished me my making me drink. A great suprise session. I love this place. Let's hope for a repeat today!

The poleboarder had to have been me, I guess, since, strangely, I was the only one out; probably related to the fact that the wind was late and unexpected.

Pineview was a bust so I high-tailed it to DC for some fun. Way powered on the 15m so I rode Billy's 129 for a bit before I needed my raceboard. Ryan kited ULLB last night as well powered on his 17m and small board fyi. $30 spent on gas yesterday. Boo hoo.
