6-15 Brigham (Bear River) Bird Refuge

Well so much for that idea. The loop around the bird refuge is closed from June 1 to Sept 15. Oh well. As I passed Willard, I saw a couple of kiters out. Not sure who it was. It looked like they enjoyed much more success than I did. That's happened a lot lately.

The two liters at Willard were Marty and me. I rode 13 and Marty, 11 & 13. It was a good afterwork session.

Ken, there is a old windsurfer saying that I found to be true - "don't leave wind to find wind". When you see kites in the air, stop and ride!

Thanks for the advice Kenny. I should have stopped. I had a late start and by the time I came back by, both of your kites were down, I assume because of the rapidly approaching black cloud out west complete with lightning bolts!

Yes, we saw some lightening bolts and put our kites down for about 20 minutes. The skies cleared and Marty went out again. I called it a day.
