LAKE POWELL 134 Recoil VS 1500cc Honda 6/19

Postby David Kyle » Sun Jun 20, 2010 12:15 am

My coworkers thought it would be funny to see me wakeboard behind a badas$ wave runner on my kiteboard.
On a windless day, I tied a 20 foot rope with a big knot on the end, to the back of 1500cc supercharged
Honda jetski. The driver clocked me at 64 mph before i did multiple cartwheels across the lake.

So, for the product review of the 07' Liquid Recoil behind boat.

* get up on plane: almost imposible, painfull, grueling, and any other word that rimes with sucks
* ability to edge out as$ end of jetski: Nada
* carve at high speed: Maby if the rope was long enough, and strongly unrecomended
* sustain warp speed: only until buddy goes from half, to full throtle

Riders coments: Dont do it. wish it was windy

Nice David! I rode my cruiser pro with the teeny fins behind a ski boat on lake Mojave a while back, you can go sideways pretty easily on that board. My max speed was about 1/3 of yours. "Friends" are great, aren't they?
