Awesome evening of kiting at Lincoln! Dave pulled up in his truck shortly after I arrived and we had the place all to ourselves (except for a few boats and kids playing near the shore). I almost felt guilty that we were the only two kiters enjoying the spoils...almost. The beach was loaded with boat trailers and holiday-goers, so I ended up self launching in the water to avoid any mishaps. Once out in the water, it was nothing but good times. The wind was super smooth and warm and just the right strength for practicing vertical maneuvers on my 16M. It blew solid for the whole 3 hours I was out there!
BTW - Derik Sayers was there teaching a student on a training kite. I had heard the stories, but never met the guy so it was good to put a face with the name.

Nice work!! It's always good to get those uncrowded evenings down there. Just didn't have it in me to make the drive. Sometimes I just wish I was a farmer living in Lakeshore. If the trees start to sway, park the tractor and go kite!
