got there at 10:30, full white caps over the whole lake. Kited from 11 - 12:30(13m Edge), guys are still ripping it now at 2PM. I was crushed, and I gotta go to work.

I showed up at 2 and rode for 20 minutes before coming in because everyone appeared to be leaving and I didn't feel entirely safe going at it alone. I parked the kite for a while before Jake decided to hit the water again and the two of us rode until the wind turned off.
I bought a 13.5 kahoona from Don a couple weeks ago and have been aching to give it a try. Today was the day...buying that kite was the best decision of my kiting history. It felt amazing. Soooo floaty on the jumps.
It was a great, albeit short session for me. Hopefully the north wind comes back soon.

I figured the wind would let up a bit based on the Sundance meter, so I put up the Zephyr and busted out the mini board. Dobson said "Beam me up Scotty!" as I launched. You were correct Herr Dobson. Holy crap that was fun. The depower strap came in handy a few times. I could have kited longer on a 13, but I just wanted to jump a bunch today. A great surprise for sure, and it was fun to see T Jacques hucking his meat as well!

FYI - I am having a housewarming party Saturday night the 14th of August. If we have kited/windsurfed together, you are invited! PM me or send an email to spanishinfo@yahoo.com for directions.

Carl,

Glad you enjoy the wind data.

I was on a 6.6 and quite powered up most of the time; a surprisingly good day!
