8/7 G-ville, 5.7 sumo 105

Four out of five days (vet appt yesterday) of sub-6m sailing for me, although my 6.7 would have been a bit less work this morning instead of my bagged out 5.7. Jim, Grant, Duane and I were all there about 7:00. Jim and I got on around 7:30, Jim planing more than me. But it filled in a bit and I ended up with around 2 hours of mostly planing, although I was working it hard at times. Grant's 6.9 worked well. A full crew on the water by 9:00, although it was hard work unless you had a relatively big sail, or a anti-gravity field like Jim, who seemed to always be zooming into his kuwell laydowns.

Hard to beat a place (Utah!) where you can say no to 6.0 (almost!) for five days inna row. And that's not counting tomorrow (and Monday?)...

Not what I expected today, but hey I wasn't working. If it keeps blowing for the next few days I think this is some new record for planable days in Utah (post Rush Lake era.)

had to milk it to get my 200+lb lard ass on top but it was fun and any day on the 94L is a luxury. just don't look at all the broken glass.

ps I'm not antisocial, I just don't like to baja the caravan.
