It was fun yesterday on a 17m. I'm glad everybody came in and left before the storm hit. It got really nasty after. The Mist was coming off the lake.

Todd, thanks for letting me try out your Fish board. Super Fun board and easy to jib on in light wind. I'm getting one.

On a 16 Waroo - good time! Glad everyone left before it really started nuking - could see the mist coming off the lake from my place a few miles away!

btw - i have someones helmet from the beach yesterday - someone gave it to me thinking that the owner already left - apparently you had not - anyways i have it and live in midway - 435-640-6505 spencer

I had a happy discovery. Lately when I tried my 6' N.Pacific surfboard as a light wind board, it didn't have enough floatation. I got the idea to take the straps off my smallest windsurf board, an RRD 50 (250 cm, 75 liters floatation). It worked great! The board was fast and lively, much more lively than with a pole attached to it. If there was enough wind to keep the kite in the air, I could go. I always felt bad about all my windsurf boards collecting dust, this could be new life for them. By the way, thanks Spencer for bringing my board to shore when my line broke.

Ralph, thanks for posting that you had a good time on your windsurfer, I have a 69L, 8' board under the dust that I have been thinking could be fun, but never put it in the truck, now I will!

Yeah, I really like riding mine. A couple things though, the footstraps are in the wrong place and will get in the way so you need to take them off. It took quite a few attempts at waterstarting before I figured it out. At first the nose of the board was turning down wind. You have to keep the board sideways to the force just like a twin tip. The difference is that you can't push on the board as much, you have to let the kite lift you onto the board.
