Jim and I drove down to Yuba yesterday morning. Arrived around 11;00. Wind was already going so we rigged 4.5s and our little boards. Sailed til almost dark. Lots of blowing sand, and fun little waves. Stuart, and George and Carol joined us for the fun.

Just like the good ol' days...

I have video of Yuba on a 50MPH+ day and the waves were huge. They build up from the dam and get pretty big by mid lake over where you park at west beach... Then there is flat water when it's SouthWest off of the shore for hissing speed jibes... Yuba or Willard would've been soo fun on Saturday. I love that water at Yuba too...

So all I hear about is you working and missing the wind. You need a priority readjustment.
Why don't you just take Labor Day week off (how apropos), and come meet some of the Rats in the Gorge.
Katie and I will be there 9/3-9/12. Linda and Sarah are coming up then, and I heard a rumor that "D" might
come up, and maybe Jim H as well. You weren't in the Gorge video last year. We might have to revoke your
Rat status, plus all I ever hear on the beach from the local chiquitas is "where's that hunky Rick guy you used
to ride with." It's starting to give me a complex.

First of all... "Chiquitas"... ha... These figments of our imagination are now traveling interpersonally... The delusion has spread! ;))

No kidding about the "rat status"! Throw me in the gallows. I hold my self in contempt of Gorge. Although last year was an injury that kept me out of the game...

The "work" details are rather complex, but I'm going to do what I can to get up there. I just don't have the dream job anymore like you! I'll get up there one way or another before the year is done!

On a final note... Playing bball last night a guy came down on my lower leg, medial collateral ligament strain... I was a milimeter away from knee explodage, felt the stretch but didn't feel/hear the pop. :|| It mostly hurts at that same angle... Keeping an eye on it. So, sometimes, you, no I just can't win! :?? Maybe with a little brace I'll be alright! I'll keep in touch.
