While I wanted to go to Sulphur I was still mildly disgusted by it from yesterday and Mike sold me on MM19.

Showed up at 1:00. No wind of course ... "It just backed off" ;)
Went in with the 6.2 to get quickly overpowered. Saw Mike and Jim doing good of smaller gear followed by Darren doing the same.
Rerigged 4.7 and had a really good time until ~4:00 when I called it quit during a long lull as I had a busy evening ahead.

Very fun despite the place being more overrun by rednecks than ever. Let's get guns and set targets to shoot across the road next time. Apparently it's the new cool thing to do (that and driving by the shore to empty your car from all your old Macdonald bags and takeouts...

My board appears to be cracking big time.. New boards are not what they used to be. (may be 12 lbs for 100 liter is too light ;) )

Fun day on the 95 and 4.6. The wind was a little up and down but it is Utah. Rednecks are not the only problem watched a group of guys pull up to the shore and dump alot of trash on the beach. Not sure what to do about this place?????????

Ya, that was a lot of fun.
4.5 for two days in a row in Utah in August, who'd a thunk it?
I think MM19 would be a great place to hold the next

Beside the usual nose cracks there might be a crack running at 45degrees across the whole board starting 2 feet from the nose. Only saw it in the water (Mike could see it too) but could not see it dry on the shore.
Might need a full sand on the nose perimeter to evaluate damage and add some glass in a U-like shape along the edges. Pro-level board are way too fragile for a hack ;)

Good think I just bought back my flying pig!!! Lucky move!
