Lindon or Lincoln or both?

Postby stokes » Tue May 02, 2006 11:31 am

Are there two beaches called Lindon and Lincoln?

Or are they the same spot just getting the name mixed up?

Otherwise where is Lincoln?

Thanks for the help - Stokes

As you have probably discovered by now, Lincoln Beach and Lindon are, in fact, different. Lincoln Beach is on the southern part of Utah Lake, west of Spanish Fork.

No actually, you were the first to know. I had asked a few people and they were unaware as well.

How is that spot for kiting?

Stokes-
I checked it out the other day and it looked good. Dean and Arpi went there and Dean wasn't that stoked on it. Mostly little swell action. You also launch off of dirt with small rocks, not too many but apparently sharp. The flat water bay looks sweet. I want to check it out. I want to go on the next windy day preferably on a weekend so there's time to scope it out. Just drive past the right hand turn to SSB(river lane) and keep heading south looking for signs to lincoln beach park. Call me and I'll go 801-949-9313. It actually looks better than I'm making it sound.
