Light by mojave standards. 4.6 on the 11th, 5.8 on the 12th, 4.6 on the 13th and 4.6 and 5.2 on the 14th. No crazy 3.6 days :??. Very warm air and water. Had a big turn out on Saturday with close to 14 people kiting and windsurfing. Going back as soon as I can. I think this is one of the best places to sail :))) .

Hey Mike, were you at 6 Mile or Kathrens? sounds like a good trip. Get some pics if you can of your next adventure.

I was one of the kiters there 11/13 & 14. very nice conditions with 70+ air temps. very comfy in the 5/4 suit, no gloves necessary. Lit 10m both days. Learned the hard way that telephone cove isn't the best spot to launch from as you need to work your way out of a wind shadow to get out into the channel. we were seduced by the nice sandy beach, but after the first session, we headed up to cabinsite, which is a rocky beach, but has clean wind right from the launch. Saw Josh and Mike there. There was a group of kiters from california there on saturday (one of whom knew sherwin) and will and clint from Jackson joined us on sunday on their way to padre. Long drive for 2 days of kiting, but it's been a light fall and the forecast looked too good to pass up.
