Thanksgiving - Where to Ride

This year we have a lot to be grateful for, January conditions in late November. What an awesome start to the snowkite season. After you have stuffed your face with Turkey and pie, you should find some light wind rides at Skyline or Lake Creek with wind in the low to mid-teens with promise of upper teens. Sorry, high elevation areas are the only places promising any wind today. Not much hope for Strawberry, maybe if you have a snowmobile and can access the upper ridges. The cabin site area may have wind, but I doubt it has enough coverage yet.

Friday is looking pretty windless

Saturday is promising to be a light wind day at Skyline and Lake Creek. Possibly PowMow as well (I am guessing that there is snow, I just have not read a report).

Happy Thanksgiving fellow snowkiters!
