Peter, I am curious how the video looks at a higher resolution. It looked like you were trying to get the zoom dialed in during the shot. That can be tricky.

The shot is taken about a 1/2 mile down the road from the Skyline Parking Lot. The past few years, I thought about riding it. I decided to give it a shot today because the wind was more southerly. The powder was creamy and it is a nice hill to climb, not so great for gliding as the prime spot to glide has an aspen grove at the base. There is another smaller hill to the west that can also be ridden. 2 - 3 kiters could have a fun time tearing up that hill.

Bosco is starting to get kind of rough in spots due to the sled traffic, good thing we have another big storm on the way. The parking lot is still buried in 6' of snow.

All I have to say is I would rather try than not try. Some of the videos certainly will need work and as time goes on I will certainly get better at it. My position is to show what we can and let people see a mirror of themselves hopefully learn something from it. This summer the video camera caught many people for the first time and showed them at their best. The one thing this video showed a hill that I have never been down at skyline. Dave when you get time take a look at the spring and summer video it has you doing a huge raily and I certaily want to go gliding off that hill sometime.

Peter,

Yeah, we love you man. Keep shooting. I bought a GoPro Hero HD Helmet Cam and recorded the same session. I will post it once I get a chance. I was impressed with the quality of footage that Jake shot.
