2/5 Strawberry River, 13 meter foil, skis and snowboard

Arrived at SR around 1:30 pm to find couple of kites up and a few more were setting up. The wind was gusty from NW, with marginal visibility. I took out the 13 meter and decided to go with the snowboard first. It was a good decision. Had fun for about 2 hours in mostly fresh powder conditions. Plenty of face shots and the crusty surface is that bad. The wind backed off around 3:30. I decided to change to skis since the wind was lighter. I played around at the ridges at the SW and find mostly powder there. The wind shut down at around 5:30 as the sun sets. All in all a good day. Hope for a repeat tomorrow.
