Great storm riding. Left SLC at 6:30am and riding a little after 8 from CC East. It was well worth the early effort. Put up the 12 Manta and was overpowered. 9 Frenzy was perfect for me. Great time, headed across the lake and the Marina area was awesome playing among the trees and picnic sites added good definition in the low vis. Seems to work well down there in the east wind. Riding back toward CC across the lake was vertigo inducing. It was snowing super hard at times but the wind remained strong and was smoothed out the further south I traveled. Rode through the event site briefly and there was great snow there and the wind felt smoother there than at CC east. Seemed like a lot of happy kiters there in the storm. Got caught out on the lake in some lulls around noon and limped it back home to be powered again by the parking lot for a bonus round. Driving out by 12:30 and it was dumping! The pow is there... pray for more wind.

Some shaky helmet cam footy from today. Is there a way to embed a vimeo on here?

Thanks for the report Matt. Can anyone report from the Superfly event? Jacob? NWS is calling for WSW turning WNW during the day tomorrow at Strawberry.
