Woke up to high winds in Nephi and decided to dust off my
sea legs on Mona 10 minutes north of home base.
Broke out 7M Bull just for the fact that Mona looked creepy as hell with
its blackish green butter on speed. Turned out it was the perfect ride
for the blistering swath at the north marina beach. I rode for one hour
in 3.2 suit with no jitters. Knowing Mona is some of the coldest water
in the valley, I decided to stay above surface and doffed my suit to totally dry skin.
Can't beat Mona's pace and beat when it is on, what a freeky rushed ride.
Never could Mona be so intimidating under the sun of summer and board shorts...
