Got to Grants a little late (9:30), waited for a little while for it to warm up. Wind was fairly strong when we arrived, but we dawdled around for awhile (again, waiting for it to warm up, probably waited too long). Anyway, Ken (6.0m) and I (5.7m) finally got out on the water and had some really nice rides. Wind started to get real funcky about noon, just when the sun started to come out. Nice reach, water about 30 yards from the fence. Water still a little chilly, but nice to be on the water. Wind died off... left Ken out in the middle, a cold swim... but it didn't bother him!
