Latest I've kited at Skyline was June 18th... but May 18th was the latest for good conditions. By June it was thin runs surrounded by fields of mud.
The standard for past 4 years has been a 1-2 foot dump around Cinco De Mayo, which ends up offering mid winter conditions for one last weekend before turning warm for the season. Seriously, you could set a clock by the annual early May dump and subsequent sessions. This year is lining up so far. I remember Rob W. showing up with the Manta II 10 meter proto a few years back. Heather, he and I were blown away on how good the lit conditions were for testing the new snowkite in May. He assumed the season was done and we'd be testing in mountain boards. Instead the 3 of us shared the mountain alone while bikinis dotted the beaches.
Beyond that, Mid-May is my official end of season at Skyline. After that it gets too warm at the higher elevations causing erratic thermal winds that are more gusty and fluky. Rule of thumb is when the animals start to show up (deers, badgers, birds) then its time to call it a season.
Alaska and the Big Horns in Wyoming are prime right now.
