Arrived at Jalama Beach Saturday night to late to sail, but Sunday ended up on my 5.0 for a few hours with a good south swell before it did a wild switch to side-off. Gusted sub-3.5 til dark (which was way too wild for me or anyone else to sail). Sailed some more 5.0 the next day in small surf.

Spent one more night at Jalama then headed north to San Simeon. Did'nt get any sailing in here, due to a lack of wind and a Elephant Seal infestation.

Spent the next couple of days sightseeing around Cambrio and then Seqoia National Park.
Squeezed out a couple of days of 5.0- 4.5 at Lake Isabella on the way back home.
Nice spring get away.

Nice score at Lake Isabella, I love that place. Its always windy and strong there. The whole place has a magic to it with the Kern river, hot springs, and cliffs galore up the canyon.
