OZONE INSTINCT DEMOs AT RUSH THIS WEEKEND 5/20,21

Postby Jon Manwaring » Fri May 19, 2006 4:41 pm

It's hard to beleive that we may have new gear to fly, a weekend and wind, all at the same time. I have all sizes of Instincts (7,9,11,13M) for you to DEMO. Family obligations will keep me home, but Brian and Heather from OZONE, and Marty (Mr. Bow) have agreed to get you going on these kites. Bow style, or flat kites could be the future of kiting and OZONE realized this and with the INSTINCT have worked out most of the problems with these kites that the other manufactures are still trying to figure out.
Come out and be one of the first kiters in North America to fly the INSTINCT.
Thanks again to Marty, Brian and Heather for helping me out.

Good winds gave the opportunity
for many riders to ride the Instincts.

Everyone commented on the way the kite has more of a "c" kite feel
than a bow feel,
but quicker, and more depower (safety).
Huge boosts were displayed by Doug an Ryan.
(Doug said he scared himself a couple of times)

At one point the 13M, 11M, and 9M were flying side by side.
What a range.
Hope the winds cooperate again today.........

Thanks to Jon, Mount Top Kites,
for the demo of the Instinct kites,
I didn't have to rig my own kites at all this weekend.
I love the 11M.
It's my new favorite kite.

Unfortunatly, where Jon had to buy the kites,
there is only so much time anyone can spend on the demos.
Now I have to decide which size to buy.
The 13M should be a great Utah kite (with a bigger board)
but the 11M is a dream.

Windzup said they will be in stock very soon,
thats good, I don't want to wait, once I decide.

P.S. This kite can't invert...
I got it into a inverted position,
then the anti invert lines tensioned,
and pulled it out of the inversion.
I still had tangled lines, but that was my fault.

gonna miss the onepump.
