deer creek late session

Postby mike mccarthy » Wed Jun 01, 2011 10:19 pm

I was able to check out barb wire beach on my way back to the job site from the lumber yard, Billy and one other kiter were waiting for it to turn a little more south west. I was able to get back there by 5:45 and it was building. Tom V. was just getting on the water on a 12m and he looked like he was well powerd and headed to the Dam.I Sailed well powerd on my 10m. until 7:15, Great late sesh. Thanks Tom!! Very smooth for south wind. Hope to see some of the crew tomorrow at Utah lake.. it should be a classic. I have not been to rush yet this year but I love the comments about all the old timer wind surfers. Back in the day, I remember seeing almost 50 windsurfers there on every windy week end.The Jones brothers doing duck jibes at will, with there Dog that was playing soccer on the beach.or should I say the mud. Are there still those funkey little bugs that would swarm your car as soon as the wind would get lite? you could find them in your car a week later.Glad to have the old icon back. I hope to get there soon.
