National Weather Service forecast for Charleston, Utah:
Today: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 75. South southeast wind 7 to 11 mph becoming west southwest.

Actually, the wind was quite similar to yesterday's in time of onset (about noon) and maximum velocity (high twenties) but backed off and deteriorated into random gusts more quickly. Sail choices at Chucktown ranged from 5.0 (which actually produced some planing rides when the wind was at its peak strength) to Paul Bradshaw's 9.5. Sarah ruled the session with her 6.2 and largish JP board.

Sailed from the Island on the 10.0 and formula board, well powered most of the time and warm water. Sailed down to barewire where is chucktown?

I was pleasantly surprised being able to get rides on the 6.2. for about 45 mins before it got too squirely for me. At least I got some exercise, and a smile on my face. After I rigged the 6.2 I thought I had missed it, but it came back....waaahoooo.
