6/14 Deer Creek near EPIC!!!

Ralph and I DESTROYED BWB today. OMG It was the BEEEEESSSSSSSSTTTTTTT. I can't believe nobody else made it. Ralph was jumping boats again and I got yarded onto the grass by a gust. Holy crap April Fools day has come early.

OK, so there was some up and down wind and we made the best of it with Zephyrs and big boards. Craig was dead on with the forecast. A bit of jumping, some times it was easier to stay upwind than others. Better than golf. If it were a pizza I'd say it was a cheese heavy, undercooked, greasy pepperoni. Which is cool if you're hungover.

Epic 9.5 for me; i.e. I should really have been on something a little smaller, but the wind looked pretty feeble when I first got to Chucktown, and instead of immediately backing off the way it had doing recently, it strengthened.

Thanks for posting that Jim. It's always nice to see what happens before/after the session. I think I left at 3, and it looks like things got better as soon as I took off. Trixie remains a mystery to me, but I guess the more things change, the less they stay the same. Maybe with the increased heating today we'll have a little more?
