Had an amazing session at Lincoln with just me and Jason M. Rode from about 7 till dark on my 11.5m kite while Jason ripped it up on his 14m. For a while I even contemplated pumping a smaller kite, but overall I felt great on the 11.5. The only obstacles were a couple people on wave runners, but they left 1/2 way through and we had the place to ourselves after that. It was beautiful watching the sun set right as the wind died and I brought the kite in. I always appreciate a day like this where I can get out and practice jumping and try new things while having the whole place open.

What a great day!! Rode DC all day and just couldn't resist the bluffdale readings so I went to Lincoln. I missed thurday and Friday there, so I just had to go. The wind came in strong around 7pm. Very lit on 14 at first. The PVU readings certainly don't reflect how good it was. Lots of wakeboarders who had never seen kiting before. Enjoyed sharing the water with Utah County's kite goddess Jessica. She rolled up without her husband Chris for a solo session. He was stuck at home doing major auto repair, apparently. Impressive to see her self sufficiency and enthusiasm. She will be setting the standard for female kiteboarders in Utah, no doubt.
