Snuck out of work early. Got to try my new 9m Kahoona. (Thanks Chris for letting me use your bar) Had fun riding for a couple hours. No complaints on with the new kite. Great warm up sesh for what I hope happens tomorrow at Lincoln. I was going to bring my trailer and camp, but after riding today I am feeling to lazy to get it together Hopefully at least ride some sweet north wind Thursday.

I rode lit up on 12m most of the day and set personal height records for jumping (thanks to chris and tyler coaching) i do need to get through my thick skull to keep flying the kite so i don't fall out of the sky like a brick and eat crap every time. I was shocked at how fast the wind turned off too i wouldn't recommend riding too far into the lake, which is advice don gave me and i'm glad i listened or else i would've downwinded into a not too friendly place. awesome day much needed!

I had the late shift, arriving around 5:45. It looked like powered 10m when i pulled up, but quickly fell off in the next 5 mins. I know a south on UT lake ain't getting any stronger in the evening, so i rigged the 15m. Headed out to well powered 15m, but 10 mins later it was time to switch to a bigger board. It was on the light side for 20 mins or so, but then came back strong. I switched back to the small board and we had a nicely powered, big kite sunset session. not too gusty for south frontal day.

I'll see you at the theater this evening, Mr. Lincoln....
