I heard that the kiting was good at Pineview Friday.
But a tree ate a Zephyr?

this flock of blue Zephyrs landed on the beach in SPI today.
no trees for them to land in,,, ha

Since you brought it up. I threw a big mega kite loop and just went to high...ha, you know that's a lie.

Well the swell was better near the beach got pulled over the front of the board, was dragging back to get
it, turned the kite a moment to late, caught one line on a small branch way up in the trees.
I was 20 feet up one tree, Kyle was 30 feet up another with Doug helping from the ground.
Had to surgically extract the kite with a cut away tool. For such a bone head maneuver the
outcome was not too bad. Missed an hour of the best wind, had to order a new bridle system and
the kite gets a trip to Hood River for a small canopy repair. Without Doug and Kyle's help the kite would
still be blowing in the breezy 60 feet up. Thanks guys
