ULLB 26 Oct - 11 and 7 m Med Board, Surf Board

I got to Lincoln all by my lonesome, and then Mike B showed up. Paraise the Laaaawd! It's always mo funner to have someone out with you. We launched 7 and 11 and got after it for 2 hours or so non stop. Fun arcs on the waves, good sized jumps, butter and we had the whole place to ourselves. When I could no longer feel my feet , it was time to come in. I wore a 4/3 suit, 3 mm booties and 3mm gloves. The wind chill was substantial, but it was sunny, and we were using a lot of energy so it worked out.

The second shift showed up at 4 and it was still blowing plenty strong.

I rolled in at 4 right as chris and mike were getting ready to head out. i've been deprived of any and all kiting since early august so i was desperate to ride. so, putting on my 2.2mm shorty and toughing it for as long as i could was my only option. i rode till my hands and feet were numb (15 minutes) then came in to warm up. I'm still working on that part. I was lit up on my 12 m but as usual i was very impressed with its ability to handle high winds, plus it made it easy to stay out of the water. i'm not sure how cold the water was or what the air temp was, but it was COLD but very much worth it. i just hope my balls drop back out by sometime tomorrow...even if they don't it was still worth it!!!

Awesome dusk session tonight. I stayed well powered on 10m past dark.

I tried out some new blubber for the first time (http://www.backcountry.com/hyperflex-we ... lsuit-mens). I also put a shorty over top and I found I was actually too hot! Stoked about that because the air temp was less than 50 and there was no sun out.

Thanks Jake for helping me get setup while I was rushing to get on the water. Thanks for the land at the end Jim.

Stoked about milking the late season!

Two days on 9m, love that. Bonus after sunset wind spike made the waves smooth to end it. much more fun with Billy and Brad out on the water.Temp around 40 after sunset, cool.
