2/25 Kenny's Where to get blown away

It is a nuking day today. Skyline will have wind in the upper 30's, super gusty and nasty. Add to the nasty wind a base of hard zastrugi and it will be a challenging day for sure. Strawberry Marina should give up some rides today, I can't vouch for the wind quality as strong, prefrontal winds can be especially turbulent, expect wind in the mid-twenties. It appears that there is enough wind that most locations at Strawberry should be rideable. Surface conditions are subpar with plenty of sage and obstacles to avoid. Park City should give up some rides with wind in the mid-twenties and very gusty. Today is a day for Monte Cristo as well with wind in the mid-twenties. You may want to save your strength and support Chris "Pepe" Sherwin's "Don't Worry Be Happy" Party tonight. Even if you can't make it, you may wish to send a donation and a note of support to our buddy Pepe.

Sunday promises lighter winds at Skyline, but not much improvement in the snowpack if the forecast is accurate. Expect wind in the low to mid-teens.

Monday is looking like a snow day.
