The 1st time your head gets wet it's sh-- thats cold. Beyond that one of the best 6.5 days I can remember at Grants. Very steady after about 9:30. Myself, John Freed and Ken Onstott. On the water @ 9:00 and left about 11:20. John and Ken still making blazing fast fetches.

The ripping fast winds hit about 11:00 and John and I switched to the 95L boards. It suddenly occurred to us that John had an orange sail matching his orange board. I was just getting off a red and white board with a matching red and white sail. We have never been designer types. Maybe we could finally be accepted at Dougs.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
