5/3 Craig's Where to Ride

Postby Craig Goudie » Thu May 03, 2012 8:36 am

Tricky forecast today. Grantsville looking good this AM for 5.5 sail conditions and dieing
around Noon or 1. Rush looking like some AM 6/12 also, then a lull around mid day, then
a switch to North winds around 4PM in the 6/12M range. DC looking pretty good for an early
11 AM start, and lasting most of the afternoon, but getting gustier toward 4 or 5 PM. If you
care to brave the cold up at Sulfur, there should be 5.5 sail conditions up there from about Noon until 4 with air temps about 10 degrees cooler than down here. Clouds and a chance
for some rain under 70 degree skies late this afternoon/evening down here.

Tomorrow, more planable South wind again for Grantsville, and Rush AM and DC PM. Sulfur
again windy in the 6M sail range in the afternoon. Air temps might hit 60 if you're lucky up there.

By Saturday, planable North wind at Rush and UL PM.

UWA opener and Video party at Brewvies. come and see if you made one or more of
the videos.
