Under, powered and over on the 4.0 from 3 to about 7. Sweet afternoon, the weeds are growing and the water is warm, whats left of it.

Upwind, in about four inches of water and weeds the wind was spectacular for about an hour. I felt like I was in Egypt or something. Kenny was getting the goods when his kite went down somehow. What I saw next was the most hilarious thing I have ever seen while kiting. Kenny's lines were 90% covered in 6 inches to a foot and a half of soaking wet moss/weed. It was windy enough for the (7m ?) Hindenburg to relaunch. His kite setup must have weighed an extra fifty pounds as it came out of the water. The weeds sprayed water into the air and the entire rig looked like a massive jelly fish with 25m tentacles. It was so windy that he made it back to the launch with no problems.

I started on 11 and rigged 7 after a crazy huckfest. PLENTY of power on the 7 until about 740pm. Best wind I have ever had at Rush.

After a 10 day kite vacation on my 6M and 8M (no whining)
I was hoping for an 11M day,,, but no..
At times I was lit on the 6M.

Very nice for an after work session, until it lightened up just before 8.
Rush in June, mega bonus.

Rush is Plush.

The Reo is a great wave type, gust busting kite, but it sux for jumping.

Arrived at 5 PM to see a ton of riders on the water. Rode 9M overpowered and managed to ride through my lines on a downloop transition. Set up my lines on the opposite shore and thankfully Doug helped me launch as there were a lot of dead weeds to grab my lines. Switched to 7m and rode way up wind. On the way back down wind I was doing kiteloops and downloops and once again managed to put my kite on the water. This time as Chris mentioned, the weeds attacked my lines. I don't know how it is possible, but I managed to relaunch with a ton of weeds coating my lines. It was like a twisting, writhing genie in the air. As the weeds dried, the kite performed better. Rode for a while just for kicks with weeds hanging off my lines. Went in, rode Marty's 6m, but it wasn't enough, so I went back out on 9M and Vern's 135 Xenon Board - it was sweet. Wind was unbelievably smooth and strong. What an awesome evening session at Rush. It was great to see Pepe back on the water.
