Just a amazing day at UL for everyone in the sailing world!

I would like to thank all of the kiters who didn't sail but helped launch and land all of us.

Great job by all of the kiters who went out and made it happen.

Amazing riding and beach support for a amazing day of wind!!

I agree I really want to thank all who helped me and others. Alex you are a rock star!!
Biggest day for me. I am in the market for a 5m. My 7m was a handfull, depowered 10" and still too much. But it was some of the craziest sailing ever.
Oh and I want to thank Tylenol. Had to get up in the middle of the night and take more. back is a mess :)))

Also (3) 7meter days since monday, seems like the gorge?

I'd like to echo what Billy said as far as how helpful everybody was. I was very relieved when I saw Alex coming out to catch my kite when I came in. I'd like to thank John for "breaking the ice" by going out first on his 5 meter, and Chris for showing us a 7 meter was possible. Todd was carving the swells better than I have ever seen him. Billy was staying connected to his strapless high in the air. Mike was so comfortable on his 4.5, it looked like a stroll in the park. (I was never comfortable the whole time) Don was styling too.

Yes, a HUGE thanks to everyone that helped launch a kite and haul a board. I'm usually in the habit of saying thanks on site, but with so many crazy and chaotic things going on at launch and land, I don't even remember what was going on. I do remember that it would have sucked without the help though.

I had so much fun out there! Big hucks, railslides and super carving by everyone. 30 mph wind just won't seem threatening after this one.

Big props to Billy for getting a board back home all the way from the shores of Sal Padre...Strapless methinks :!:

Wow! Some big wind and waves. Thanks to Ralph,Chris G,Billy and Alex for getting me launched. 5m and short lines were managable but not much boost for jumps. Pepe was going big on his 7!
