More beach is showing daily.
Stringtown is a nice beach that put us into the best wind PV has to offer.
Side shore conditions are a treat also.
Vern, Doug and JIm on Friday
Vern and I on Sat.

Stringtown road is next to the new elementary school in Eden.
Drive south to the end of the road, hike in to the beach.

If I was still windsurfing, I'd mostly go to windsurf point
(free pullout before the boat ramps)
I like kiting farther east of the point.
Stringtown isn't beginner kiter friendly.
Side shore, so you need to be able to stay up wind, in the lighter conditions.

It's a long pack in for windsurf gear.
Not bad for kite gear.

Nope. Just park at the end of the road and then walk south onto the beach area. Once on the beach area, head west / southwest to the point where you want to set up. We had this beach years ago and I would usually walk a block or two on the beach to get the the good setup/launch area. It is a no fee area, no bathroom, etc. It is a beach that does not exist until the lake level drops way down.
