I'm new to snowkiting in Utah, and today tried to go up to Powmow, but the canyon was closed. Is there a different road to get there??

I am not sure why the road was closed, but Powder Mtn. Does have new owners. Saw something on the news. Maybe it's already been discussed here.

However, I moved the post from " where to ride" because many people have the forecast texted to phone and replies show up as well.

Ogden canyon has a closure until Sat afternoon for construction. I84 to trappers loop road is the alternate

I got stuck at the base of the canyon. It must have just been those road closures. I'm excited to finally get up there. I've heard good things
