Thanks for the footage, Peter, Tyler, and Chris. A south day is always good for massive uplift on the SW face of Bosco. Late in the afternoon, I got stuck at the bottom of Bosco when first a lull then a rotor twisted up my kite. It was a great vantage point to watch Billy and Jake go silly high. Jake flew over me on one pass and nearly cleared the gap landing on the upslope of the opposite berm. It inspired me to try to bridge the gap again, so I gave it a couple tries. On the second one, the uplift was huge. It was pucker-time when you just hang in there and ride it out. It is unnerving when you are sheeting your bar out and you are still rising, I had to fly out of the uplift zone to begin to descend again.
All in all, it was a great afternoon with the crew ripping up the slopes, plenty of fresh still to be had. However, the snow is getting chewed up in places (mainly by sleds), so the storm on Monday will be most welcome.
