large patches of glare ice and some pockets of thin snow made for an interesting day. Literally no friction was making for sudden acceleration moments. I was trying to be very careful since a fall on the ice could result in a serious injury. In fact I broke a rib under similar conditions last year. I kited for about 2 hours till the wind shut down about 1:30 and left me stranded in the middle of the reservoir. I put the tele's into walk mode and skated back to the car. Not a great day but still better than working.
