1/24 Kenny's Where to Ride

Summary: a series of storms will be passing over the region for the next week or longer bringing much needed snow and wind.

Skyline is your best bet today, the trick is getting there. Just know that the going will be slow. Expect gusty wind in the mid-teens or higher and possible snow flurries throughout the day. PowMow looks like a snow day today. You MIGHT get some rides at Strawberry as well, but you may have to hunt around to find the wind and if you do find it, it may be intermittent, light, and gusty.

Friday - the forecast models are all looking weak for wind right now (take a look at ikitesurf or NOAA Point Forecasts and you will see what I mean). However, as often happens when a series of weak storms are approaching, it is difficult to forecast wind speeds. I think that there will be decent wind at Skyline and PowMow. Possibly Park City as well. Stay tuned.

Saturday - same deal as Friday. I think there will be wind. Stay tuned.
