The wind was light when I arrived at 12. Kevin was the only other kiter out. Jim came about 15 minutes later. We rigged and worked out way down to the gliding hill and had a ball for couple of hours. The wind was up and down and couple of furry did make visibility a little funky. By 1:30, Chris G, Tyler and few other arrived and the wind was actually a little bit better. I could use the 15 meter. But the 12 worked fine. It took a little more effort to get back to the parking lot though.
The snow is pretty good. There are still some sage sticking out and deep pockets of soft snow on the ridges. But I think Strawberry is prime for good riding now. Look forward to the next couple of weeks of actions!!!

It was a pretty awesome day. Sherwin was throwing down on the gliding hill. I posted a cell phone quality video of him on facebook (On my page as well as the Utah Kiting group).
Coverage is good. is it nice to have some hard pack below the powder. Looking forward to a good rest of the season.
