I didn't want to drive all the way to Skyline and took a gamble by going to Strawberry. The wind was light. I was thinking to check out Chicken Creek. Andy told me that the Chicken Creek area has very little snow. We both rigged a 12 meter. It was too small even for me. A 15 meter would have been better. Andy was on snowboard and could get it going. I guess the snow condition has something to do with it also. It was soft in some spots and just awful in most places. It is either hard crust icy surface or crust you can break through. I played around on the east side of the hill for a little bit and had to call it a day because my legs were getting a workout!

I hope either more snow tonight or it will heat up enough tomorrow to soften the surface. Otherwise, it is not fun to ride. I think it might still have a week worth of snow left in Strawberry River area.

12 was enough. But after 30 minutes I called it. The melted snow has frozen solid. Like riding on rocks. No Buenos. I'm ready for water.
