Sailboat Beach/ Deer Creek. As newbies to Utah water...first time there. 1-2 pm on water. My husband on a 6.5 /109 . Sunto watch speed average 18, speed up to 25. Wind 9-17 according to " Wind Alert" web site. As you locals know... Gusty at times. I had 5.5 /135. Really enjoyed the ride...first real good day we have had here in Utah. We met Robert and Cameron, nice guys. They were nice enough to give the beta for the area. Water cold, sunshine, small white caps, very few boats, overall Great ride when wind would fill in.

"Gusty at times" is putting it VERY mildly. At least downwind at Charleston, it was about as gusty as DC ever gets, which is saying something!

Water continues to warm up, now in the low 50s; air a very pleasant 63 at Charleston launch.
