5/15, DC BWB, 12 and 15 meter, 139 twin tips

It was windy all morning at Sundance so I took a chance and drop up to DC after lunch. It wasn't that great at the dam. But when I arrived at BWB, I saw Alex was out there already and Ralph had pumped up his kite. The wind looked strong and I pumped a 12 meter. But there is a huge dark cloud over the BWB area and I rode with caution, partly because I was on a 3/2 shortie. I had to go in and changed to full 4/3 wetsuit. Had about 2 hours of good wind until about 3 p.m. Went in a pumped the Ignite 15 and played with Jason M for a few minutes. Then the wind switched to a little east by around 3:45. Jason got in just before it became a real junk. It was coming from the east by then and up and down from nothing to 25+. My 12 meter got blown away. Good thing Trish and (Corey?) saved the day.

All in all, not a bad day. I wish I had follow Jason and call it a day sooner! :^^

There is a pair blue gloves. I think it might be Ralph's I left them under the wind shock.
