DCIB 8.5M/138L

Arrived about 2 just as the feeble zephyr that had lured me to the lake appeared to be fading. Still, there were occasional puffs coming through. What to rig? Should I man up and rig a 9.5 or play it safe and rig the 8.5? Prudence (cowardice?) won out, THANK GOODNESS! Because after about half an hour of slogging, the wind finally started to fill in, and for the rest of the session, the 8.5 was plenty. Dave O' arrived shortly before I launched and was planning to rig his 9.0 (didn't see him afterward, so I don't know if that's what he ultimately decided on.) Mike Hill launched his 8M kite from Atlantis Beach just as I was leaving and the wind was peaking. Overcast at times, and it even sprinkled down rain briefly, but overall a great couple of hours of pretty steady wind.

9.5 for me. But a short session as I got freaked by the black snotty cloud pattern and movement.
