3/15 Craig's Cold Spring Season Opener

Greetings to those of you crazed enough to think about wind and liquid water. Welcome to
another season of weather prognostication.

Today, North wind good enough for rides and air temps in the low 50s. Grab your drysuit
and head to Rush from 11 AM until about 4PM for 6/12M action (windsurfers might want a
freestyle fin). Rush wind looks a little Westerly early, but should be pretty steady
and more Northerly by 1PM. Utah lake should have pretty ridable North winds at most locations
from Noon until 4PM. Look for that to be in the 6/12M range also, but probably best right
when it comes up. Stay warm and stay safe out there under the partly cloudy skies.

Tomorrow a good chance for a DC thermal bucking the prevailing Jetstream for 8/16M conditions
for an hour or 2 around Noon. Air temps might hit 55 up there.

Monday, the wind really amps up substantially for strong South conditions early at DC, and Willard switching
to strong North conditions at Rush and Utah lake PM. With air temps in the low 50 it could be pretty risky.
