Sweet afternnoon. I got there before 1:00 and there was already a sailor out on a 5.1. Not sure about his name. Checked my wind meter and it was 16-21 out at the point, kind of midway between the 5.2 and 6.0. I could see the other sailor schlogging once in a while so went with the 6.0 and the 86L race board. It was pretty up and down for UL but when it was up it was definitely strong. Had great time absolutely ripping across the water. Fell once and stuck the mast in the mud. We definitely need some higher lake levels. The way my legs feel I probably should have gone with the 5.2. Josh, Steve, and Eric showed up for the 3rd shift after 4:00 and it looked like the wind was still up for them.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
