Considerably tamer conditions than at G'ville, but fun nonetheless. The wind at DC came in short burst until about 3, when it filled nicely for about half an hour. The water level at IB is now even with the bottom of the rock embankment. Air temp reached 63F this afternoon, but my infrared temp monitor registered a chilly 38.5! Drysuit (or very thick wetsuit) definitely recommended!! Leo and Jim Hornbeck were riding at BWB, but I was so busy looking to windward I didn't notice their kites.
