Up early and on the phone with DK at 6:00am looking for a repeat at GVille. Windmeter readings at Gv weren't quite as good as yesterday but with Stockton bar in the mid twentys gusting to 35 it appeared things would fill in as expected so off we went. When I reached lake point the wind was ripping as I got off SR201 and on to I-80 and I was totally hooked thinking at least 5.0M sails. Conditions at the Gville weren't as good as expected but optimism for DK and me was high and we rigged 6.0s (The old fox Ken O rigged a 7.0). I was so delusional I even took an 85Liter board down to the waters edge.. just in case.

Ken was getting lots of rides well DK and I were getting a few round trips on our 115liter boards and 6.0 sails. By 10:00am I finally came out of my euphoric stupor and realized we were being screwed by the wind gods. BTW whatever I was drinking last night has been thrown away.....Cheers!!
