NOAA nailed it, clear skies, 15-25 mph. It was clear except the 80% cloud cover and it was 15 mph. Got there to Tom watching beautiful whitecaps and lots of sun. But by the time we hit the water we only had a half hour before a dark cloud shut it down. Even though it was more sclog than rip, it was a better than Sat. as it kept coming back in for some nice rides and it never threatened rain. The front came through at about 5:00 and the wind flipped west which gave a half hour of some nice long rides to the north shore. Shut down at 5:30. Definitely not the small gear sesh I was expecting but enough rides to make it worth it. Grantsville has spoiled me.
