Finally, Grants came alive. Meter reading 18g21 when I got there at 8:00 so jumped on my 7.0 and brand new 112L board (Been aching for 2 weeks to try it). Clouds kept it under 20 until 9:30 when it cleared and the lake covered with whitecaps. Had an hour with it peaking 21g26 and then from 10:30-11:00 milked out some more planers on dying wind. Would have rigged the 6.0 but not used to the wind going past 10:00. Great screaming reaches with enough waves to pop on a plane immediately. Great morning. Only drawback was sailing the new board with a too-big fin that came with it rather than one of the other 6 Tuttle-box fins I have. None of the other fins would fit into the Tuttle box. What happened to standardization? Since the fins fit in all 3 Starboards may have to take sandpaper to the new box.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
